some years ago tried once

not nice

recently trued again, still not nice

not sure why can get m star

not properly fried although whole plate is coated with black sauce

but that alone does not make the dish nice

this dish, if try to skip the frying part, eg shorten the time spent on stir frying by too much etc

end product will not be nice

When did prawns start appearing in ckt? :rolleyes:

If not wrong I first started seeing prawns in ckt from food court stalls years back (yes, prc cookers)

Anyway ckt no lard not nice. Last I ate nice one was this unker selling at coffee shop in hougang ave 8 blk 682 there. Too bad due to greedy landlord he had to close down and left. His stall was the top stall in that coffee shop, always long queue daily selling hkm and ckt

No go so far just to eat, but most of CKT (near me) I had is mostly so-so.
Only 1 stand out from the rest, which is near my sis's area, my mum dabao for me.
The CKT used lard oil to fry n has some wok hei. (But kinda good to okok at times, maybe dabao bring back not as good? Like wok hei or the lard oil fragrance not as strong)

Ish not that bad, and got the wok hei, but it became expensive at $8 and one size nia. So should be 新加坡最贵的炒粿条
