HD7850 sapphire abnormality

my sapphire HD7850 temperatures going haywire..

I dont know what did i do.. but out of the sudden, the temperatures rise to 74degree at "idle", which used to be at load temperature.

But funny thing is, even as the sapphire trixx widget says its at gpu load of 0%, I enter games, i will notice theres some lag when i move my mouse around.

I'm also unable to adjust fan settings in trixx/CCC.

It will always jump back to the the default.

Activity 94% , but widget 0%, set fan control to 100%, but it doesnt spin at 100%.

Things i have tried.
Uninstall trix.
Uninstall, reinstall CCC.
countless shutdowns/reboots.
Opened up casing to see if fans spins (it is spinning, but some occasion when i put my finger to it, the rpm is very low, sometimes it is at at a normal rpm of 40% kind of speed).
did virus scan as well, Microsofty security essential.

out of ideas already.. dont want to resort to formatting yet

Some suggestions -

(1) click "Enable AMD Overdrive" - this should enable the manual fan control
(2) you can also try rolling back to AMD12.11beta drivers. link - AMD Catalyst

Sounds like a coin mining virus. Don't experience it myself so I don't really know, but you might want to read up a bit on it.

vddc 1.210v seems very high... is it same when u reset settings in trixx?
