HDB flat selection appointment

Do I still need to attend to both HDB appointments that was given by HDB on two consecutive days? The 1st HDB appointment is for Re offer of balance flats and the second one is for SBF. And what if I want to choose a flat from my SBF appointment? Do I still need to go for the 1st appointment which is for the Re offer of balance flats?
