HDB loan rejected

hi,
If now i am temporary jobless, i am single and apply for 2-room bto, and i did try to apply HLE and was rejected. since bto is 4 years, can i still apply the flat, and after work for 1 year and apply HLE loan again from HDB?? still applicable? or during flat selection, if they denial in the first place, they won't accept anymore?? i am worry now.

HLE is Housing Loan Eligibility from HDB
IPA is In-Principle Approval from Bank

You dont need a HLE/IPA to apply for a flat..What you need is $10 and make sure you're qualify for a HDB application. HLE/IPA is needed after you book a unit and before the 2nd appt(Signing of Lease Agreement) which is the payment of downpayment + stamp fees etc etc..

I did my HLE soon after getting the ballot results to have a rough gauge..

The different looks like more Singaporean to apply HLE, due to 10% DP & up to 30 yrs, But to be compare as Bank loan is higher interest rate at 2.6% of HDB loan.

i thought u have to be working for at least a year before u can even apply? I wasnt sure abt singles bto... but i did ask HDB abt the HLE amount being lesser than price of flat for 2nd appt... she mentioned that its fine, just a gauge for us... we need to apply another HLE upon key collection for the actual loan...

hi guys, would like to check for the second HLE, do i need to be employ 1 year continuously prior to the application, and also be employed at the point of application? as im currently holding on to a contract job, i may be jobless for a period of time ~ a few months, if im not lucky enough to get a job offer immediately after my contract ends. please kindly advise, as im worried that my second HLE will be rejected. thank you.

Just wait for your results and see how it goes. you can appeal to the loan officer for help If rejected.

for basic monthly income, I will not be able to get the full loan amount that I need, however if its base on annual, i will have more than enough..

in this case, can I appeal?

what's your basic and what's your annual income as filed on income tax?

Your bonus will only be take in at 70% instead of the whole sum.

So, if let's say your monthly gross income is $3,000.00, bonus is $6,000.00.

Your adjusted gross monthly income will be $3,000.00 + 70% x $6,000.00 / 12 which will gives you a total of $3,000.00 + $350.00 = $3,350.00.
