HDB rental market

Hi all,

Can I check how is the rental market of HDB at present? I am thinking of buying a three room resale flat using my cpf and rent out for some revenue. one thing that is holding me back is that I might not be able to rent it out.

If the rental market is not doing well, another way is to transfer all the remaining balance from ordinary account to special account and earn that extra interest.

Can anyone advise me on what to do? Appreciate it.

No way that you cant rent out hdb flat. Haven heard of such thing before. As long location good sure can rent out. You are not renting out bto locations should be fine. Resale just hoot central areas like amk sure high rents.

I am looking at west or east region three room resale flat. If the location is not that great, what is the rental rate I should expect for a single room to rent out?

Do location really play a big part? If I am willingly to rent out at market rate for not so good location, will there still be demand for it?

u look at the causeway every morning.. renting out always not the issue.
it's the rental rate mah.

My relative could not rent out a room in hougang. Not near mrt but beside CC with lots of coffee shops within walking distance.

Not near MRT quite hard to rent out now. Unless you drop rent to $400 then sure got takers. LOL
