HDD crashed while transferring files

Hi guys, need some help regarding my crashed HDD. In device manager, my HDD shows as unknown device. Any bro can help recommend any method to retrieve my data in my HDD?

Have you tried unplug and replug into another machine or if you do not have another machine, you may want to give it a try by unplugging and replugging.

First of all, check sata data and power cables if this is an internal 3.5" drive.

You can try different SATA ports and cables in case it is a hardware problem. Connecting the HDD to a different PC is better.

try running a diagnostic first. depending on what brand hdd, download the appropriate tool. if it fails, then its gone.
