[SOLVED] HDD make these sound, gone?

[Issue solved, solution as follow]

Background

Laptop BSOD while working on my FYP halfway, when restarted, heard the HDD "Beeping", and my bios didn't detect any hardisk, as shown in the video below:

This is the Hard disk, a Western Digital Black 750GB:

Lifting up the label as shown to gain access to the screws. The warning on the labels says will void warranty, but i saw my degree inside the hdd so just open up

The screws are Tox size 6

What i used:

After opening, indeed, the head and actuator arm thingy is stuck:

I used the same tox 6 screw and manually spin the disk, while simultaneously use the small hook to pull the actuator arm and shifted it back into the parking position. Be careful not to scratch the disk

I followed this youtube tutorial:

Pulled it back to parking position:

Closed the HDD back and Prayed hard.
Was relief to see the windows loading screen:

Backed up my data.

Now im posting from the "fixed" hard disk, tomorrow going SLS to buy another HDD to replace as i think some dust went inside my hard disk when i opened it.

Not sure why it died. when i was working in sls few years back in 2008, wd black seems to be a quite a decent hdd ....

have u tried a on a pc? by removing the drive and connect it to a pc.

next is the spindle sound like high and den sudden low? or high all the time?

edit: just played your video, that is probably mechanical failure, where your drive is mechanical arm might be scratching the disk.

you might have to seek professional data recovery to help solve your issues,.

Hello Yes i tried using my SATA to USB to power up the HDD, the computer registered is as "USB MASS STORAGE DEVICE"

Anyway, i fixed the hard disk, i posted how i did it on the first post
