yea means temporary. i am using 1x Curcial ssd and the hdd currently but had been encountering disk read error and cant get into windows.

Boot through USB lor

Plug in the port HD, and go to bios and change to boot from the portable HD.

Or if u dare disassamble and take the HD and plug to your PC lor .

Your WD Portable HD warranty gone liao. Can keep the case n re-use.

do you have any usb drives plugged to the computer?


do you have the OS installed on the portable HD in the first place.

did you set the correct boot device in the bios?
