HDD SATA Controller Failed

Is there any way for me to recover data to move it to another drive?

Yea, learning the lesson the hard way I guess.
My backup rsync only accomodates half of the drive. So I'm losing the other half. Less important, but still hurts.

How did you know the controller is damaged?
What are the symptoms that your disk is showing?
Is your disk being detected by bios/device management?

That's why I waste 50% of my HDD Space by buying 2x Harddick and go RAID1.

Get a hard drive enclosure and then plug in your existing hdd

dont you still use the sata controller?

Assuming its the drive that is damaged
