Hi guys
I just bought a philips monitor - 247E6EDAD.

I am using Powercolor Radeon 7850 PCS+ graphics card and I connect it through HDMI and my screen starts flickering and the resolution came out smaller than my screen. It does not fit exactly on my screen.

However when I change to DVI cable and it works fine. I also try connecting the monitor to the mobo onboard intel HD graphics card and it also work normally.

May I know what is the problem?

I suggest you try using the monitor's OSD to configure screen resolution and scaling.

HDMI cable to onboard graphics is working fine. DVI cable to 7850 is also working fine. Only HDMI cable to 7850 is flickering and the resolution doesn't fit my screen properly.

AMD Catalyst Control Center --> My Digital Flat-Panels --> Scaling Options --> Set to 0.

It seems like it was the hdmi cable that was faulty. I have change to a new hdmi cable and it is working fine. I have also changed the scaling to 0 and it fits nicely to my screen. Thanks everyone for the help.
