Not sure of the pricing, but have seen SLS some shop selling HDMI to dp adapter but u will need to get a dp cable as well

check out SLS level 2/3, i bought my DP to HDMI converter for $25.
The shop is VERY BIG and has a large shopfront selling all kinds of cables (obviously converter ones as well).

Please also confirm the output and input of your cable before going down to purchase as the cable cannot work if the ends are plugged incorrectly.
e.g. Output will be graphics card/xbox/ps4 etc.
Input will be monitor/tv

just to confirm, I am planning to plug the adaptor to my graphics card, so I should be looking for OUTPUT adaptor, correct? this will go to a hdmi cable into a mini projector (hdmi port).

is there a diff for hdmi cable also?

well yes there are different hdmi cable for monitor and tv, well im not sure of the specific, hope someone give a clear differences.

You will need a DP male to HDMI female adapter + existing HDMI cable

got something like the above, from a 3rd floor shop for $11. alot of shops sell hdmi to mini hdmi. but this one lesser seen.

i think cos the mini hdmi is for apple i think.
