Hi guys

I recently upgraded my ssd from ocz vertex 3 to a plextor m5pro. Comparing specs I would think the latter will be much better in terms of performance vs the former.
However I have hardly noticed an increase in speed, if not even slightly slower. Wonder if I should be using thirdparty software like HDtune to benchmark my ssd to see if I have gotten a lemon or something?

Thanks for reading. :)

I think its better to benchmark it. Simply google the comparison, M5Pro indded faster than Vertex3. This link will help you out.

The prob is when you switch between 2 decent SSDs, you should not see much of a dif. This is normal. You can only tell the difference when you run benchmarks on it, though I would not recommend running benchmarks on it often since it will wear out your SSD for no good reason.
