Hi,

Thanks Stereo! I ended up getting the Audio Technica ATH-IM02 IEMs, they sound really detailed and clear. The bass isn't strong enough for a basshead but it's definitely present. Vocals and guitars are great and the music just sounds very rich. 2 balanced armature drivers are used. The fit and isolation is good but I'm still getting used to the memory wire portion around my ears.I'd recommend it for anyone looking for IEMs around this price range!

Hi there,
I would like to find a replacement for my current SE115. The R side is starting to buzz and losing sound. Currently I'm doing comparison on the SE215 LE and Westone UM Pro 10 but have not yet tested them personally.

Looking around on what other options there are with that budget.

Just realize that something is wrong with the mic n vol control. Not sure is it iOS 7.1.1 issues or the earphone issues. Vol Control not working.
Unit: iPhone 4s 5s
Usage is: music, game, movies on the go.
Type of music: pop trance
I looking for something which can block as much external noise.
The s4i is better than the default iPhone earphone in term of isolation.
Looking for earphone IEM , for shure I find the design too big.
Budget s$200 below

Must be able to use mic n vol control for iPhone only.

Hi there! You might want to take a look at Sennheiser MM70i, Ultimate Ears UE600vi and if you can extend the budget, you can consider Westone W10 that comes with two cables, with and without mic and volume control. The housing is smaller than that of Shure since you find them big for your ears. Audition units are available in both Stereo stores.

i'd go with the klipsch r6i.. it's an upgrade from the s4i from what i saw, but it's the same price.. if you like the s4i that you already have, then the r6i is definitely more bang for your buck

Hi! If you want those active noise cancelling, you might want to take a look at Ultimate Ears UE6000. Nonetheless, you can also consider passive type of headphones that has good isolation like Audio Technica M50X, AKG K67 and the Sennheiser HD449. Demo sets are available in both of our stores.

Hi there! I think important question also is where you are more comfortable at? E.g. others are not comfortable with IEM/ something inside their ears.. Or others find headphones quite pressing to the ears or may be too warm for them.. Hi there, the Jays a-JAYS Five should suit your needs. Great for metal, epic music but I'm not so sure on the classical though. Anyways, do drop by to try them out. We have other models but most of them don't come with the volume control function.

Yes, they are quite close in price range and sound quality. Main difference btw them would be that the M40x cables are detachable(comes with 2 cables, straight and coiled version) and they are just slightly heavier than the M30x. Do try them out and see which models suit you better.

been using my headphones for a long time, want to upgrade a little but have no idea where to start.

- beyer dt440, used to have a tdk ba200 but lost it.

don't think $120 can get a much better pair of phones, should i get a low-mid end dac instead?

Hi! You might want to consider the Fischer Audio Consonance V.2 (currently with 10% off retail price) that has built-in mic. One of the good options also will be the JVC FRD60 (with special price promotion of $49, usual $109), with built-in mic as well as smart switch for IOS and Android compatibility. I find the latter with more transparent mids and more extended treble, if you prefer those IEM with fuller bass, you can opt to have the former. Feel free to audition them in either of our stores.
