- Your rig: iPhone 5

- What type of usage: listen music

- File format used in your source: Mainly 320kpbs from Spotify

- Genre of music you listen to: EDM, Pop songs, chinese songs, basshead here

- Headphone / earphone type: CIEM

- Budget: 900-1000 etc excllusive of ear molds, best if local dealers.

-Went through: Shure SE215 > UE900 > Heir 8A

Merlin seems like the good choice for me, 8A didnt sound as fun to me like how SE215 and UE900 behaves.

Any alternatives i have missed out apart from merlin? LS5X?

How about trying TOTL in-ear such as IE800? Shure 846? AKG K3003?

Feel free to compare the UM Merlin to flagship models like Shure SE846 and AKG K3003, or even to Unique Melody's other totl models. We do have the audition units in both stores. Have fun! :s12:

Hi all,

Can you recommend a good BT single side earphone for conference calls? I'm looking at products like Jabra Storm, Jabra Motion, Plantronics Marque 2, Plantronics Discovery. Budget $120 but can stretch to $150.

Haven't been hanging around the forum in quite a long time.
Anyway, my friend wants to get a new earpiece so im here asking for recommendation since im out for so long.

Your rig: HTC One Mini

What type of usage: Music

File format used in your source: MP3 Files

Genre of music you listen to: Pop, Rock, EDM

Headphone / earphone type: IEM

Budget: 100-150

Previous Earpiece : Beyer DTX 101

Went to try some earpiece out and he liked the Fischer Audio Consonance v1 but prefer klipsch X11I(let him try for fun:s13:)

any other recommendations or should he just get the consonance? he wants to see if there is a better option for around 100-150.

Some more info:The bass dun need to be alot decent will do

If the earpiece can be durable can last long is better as in the build quality of the product.

Hi Peh! We cannot really say which one is the best since customers have different requirements and preference. Perhaps we can give a rough idea to which models are popular in stores and some of them are JVC FX850, Shure SE215SPE, Audio-Technica ATH-IM03 and Westone UM Pro 20.

Perhaps you can finalize your much needed requirements for IEMs and audition some models to see which one will suit best to your liking. Hope this helps. :)
