Your rig: iphone 6, ipod, laptop
- What type of usage: music
- File format used in your source: MP3 mostly
- Genre of music you listen to: pop, classical, acoustic
- Headphone / earphone type: in-ear
- Other requirements (if any): comfort. clarity (if possible, but I'll take balance sound with mid-range focus anytime)
- Budget (in figures): $80, max <$100

Currently an ajays one user. Dying on me already so thought I may check out the deals at comex. Or anywhere else which has good deals.

Thanks in advance!

Just ordered an Astell & Kern JR to replace my dying Cowon Z2.

I've used CIEMs for the most part (Heir Audio), but decided to change to headphones for a few reasons. Prefer a portable headphone for commute/travel, wired or wireless don't matter.. I'm leaning towards Beoplay H8 now.. any views?

LOL bro u have customs but dont use em? Hahaha anyways, from what i've heard the beoplay H8 has too much problems for a supposedly high end product. Perhaps you might take a look at the Jabra Move wireless for ard $150, or the Sony MDR 1ABT for the approx same price as the H8. The ATH-M40x seem great size and portability wise, gotta buy the short portable cable though. You've got a great source, might as well make the most of them with a wired option instead imo. In ears the Jaybird X2 are fine too. I think the philips fidelio m2rbt are great choice too

oops sorry, what I meant was the ear buds type.

Apple ear buds kind? Bro even given your budget i wouldnt recommend an ear bud, few reccomendable options if any at all. And for the most part great bass comes from the seal. On the other hand the only option for around $100 i can think off of my head is the marshall minor. Think thats what its called

I guess you are in luck, the Brainwavz S0 seem to fit the bill for you mate.

Yea man, not really helping when you got a sinus problem though :s13: And sometimes I just feel that the sound is rather 'claustrophobic' playing out from the CIEM.

Pop classic and oldies eh? Guess u like to go for mid centric sound sigs, take a look at the A151P 2nd gen by Mee audio, cheap and good. Heaven Audio seems good too for mid.

Gone my Westone UM Pro 10 from Jaben few days ago. Pretty satisfied with it. :)

You guys looking into iems/headphones should check out Comex. Treoo at level 6 has great pricing on their products (aurisonics rocket, t-peos altone, etc). Sony at level 4 has 20% less on their xba A series iems for example. Audio Techical has 10% less on CKR series.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DID YOU SAY GOOD MIC AND GAMING HEADSET? NEVER. Okay im joking a little, but really dont expect much out of a gaming headset. Logitech G430 around $120 afaik. Maybe u use google and search? Cos this thread not say specialise with this kind. If is me i would go for a decent headphone, get a cheap clip on mic lol.

Ausdom M04 (black+red) NFC also not a bad deal, $45usd sold by amazon.com have free shipping over $125usd.

i'm using Sony SBH70 now

The quality is impressive for something that's less than $100

Right now, I'm using it more than my Sony Z5

Which of these 3 should I buy ?

- Laptop, Sony Xperia Z Ultra
- TV shows, Music, CS:GO
- FLAC, MP3s and other Movie & TV show file formats
- Rock, RnB, abit Chinese, Japanese, abit Korean, vocal heavy songs

Sony MH1C
Xiaomi Pistons 3
VSonic R02 Silver

My phone is huge, and the hole for the cable is at the side. Should I look for one that has an "L" shaped cable ? Can also recommend me others, but I've shortlisted this 3, cause they have the best value for money.
I've visited forums and seen reviews, idk their terminologies, help me out :s12::s12::s12:

Pistons for price not bad, L shaped jack is good for you since audio jack at the sides.

Recommendations.

Recently got a s4i klipsch rugged at the comex show. But was greatly disappointed by the sound quality and the ergonomics of the earphones. So was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for me.

- Using mostly my phone.
- For music only.
- Mp3 mostly
- More of mainstream music
- IEM
- Well, a mic would be a nice bonus.
- $150-$200

anyone tried the new q-jays yet? $500+ for dual armature! but with detachable cables though. only saw one shop at novena square carrying it, most popular local headphone shops don't seem to carry it?
