Hi guys, appreciate some recommendation on earphone.
currently using sennheiser adiddas but going to change because the wires are exposed due to negligence.. also used Hippo Shroom before.. i'm a bass person (not overly strong though)
Many have recommended GR07... how's the price like and any warranty ?

you will find the gr07 abit too flat for metal. while the quality bass is there, it does sound relatively flat, without much emphasis in the lower frequencies. its within your budget though and actually sounds pretty good for mandarin pop.

Westone cables should be more durable and if you using for sports the cables are sweat resistant

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, soundcard etc)
Old creative mp3 player

- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc)
Music

- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc)
Mainly mp3

- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
Trance, Vocals (mainly bass and clarity)

- Headphone / earphone type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc)
Headphone

- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc)
Not too bulky

- Budget (in figure)
$200

Currently using ATH-ES55. I really like the size and the design but was wondering if there are better choices out there.

Appreciate the help :)

Tried out the AKG Q460 today, and it feels a little heavy on the bass.

Any other recommendations? :)

PRO700MK2 is a bassier version of the M50.

Imo they are quite different sounding headphones. Pro700mk2 may not be bassier too. Had it for awhile before selling it away cos giap my head too tight :D

Try the Ultrasone HFI780. Very good soundstage and bass. Some people like those but some don't due to their unique S-logic tech so you might wanna audition them first :)

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Was hoping for more recommendations.

need one for use with my pc and ps3, was thinking of getting a headset instead. Will headphone + mic combo be better?
