hi folks,
noob here.. looking for a wireless headphone. basically use it for listening to music/movie from my MacBook for leisure. need to have ANC and also use it for work and hence need microphone inbuild in it.

I see that there are apple AirPods max, B&O BEOPLAY HX and also beats studio3 wireless... AirPods/beoplay HX are almost 800-850 whereas beats studio3 is almost half price. so what the difference that make it almost half price? 800+ for a headset seems a bit hard to swallow for me so I'm probably looking at around $500 budget unless there is really such a fantastic feature that will warrant me to pay 800+ for a headset.

would like to hear what is the recommendation for wireless headset based on my requirement?

Get Airpods Max from Shopee or Lazada, They are always around $660 now.
ya I saw that on 10/10. in the end, I went with Sony wh-1000xm4 😅

more friendly with the wallet.

I went to test AirPods max, their spatial audio is good! but I realised that in order to play music with spatial audio effects, the music need to be from Apple Music. which means that my era oldies mp3 files will not be entitled to spatial audio effect even if I get AirPods max. hence get the more economically wallet friendly Sony instead for it's noise cancellation effects...

by the way, Sony also have 360 real audio which sounds good too! BUT it's not supported on Spotify/Apple Music... what a waste... only supported on tidal and 2 other music streaming platform which is not Mandopop focus...

Spatial Audio now works with Spotify as well. I just tried it with my AirPods Pro

In no particular order:

SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ Wireless (or Arctis 1 Wireless if 7P+ is out of your budget, or no stock yet)
HyperX Cloud 2 Wireless (if you can find stock)
Razer Barracuda X

Note: Do also do your own research before buying.

ATH-CKS5TW

seeemed old model but gotten this 4 its bass but just ok as i m a fan4 Audio Technica Wired 1s....15hr + 30=45

Audio-Technica ATH-CKS5TW vs Sennheiser Momentum TW

but Amazon selling it cheaper??after convertg to SGD only140? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...&linkId=8e65ad9b87149cd063ac1f8e37666148&th=1

I find the bass too heavy and lacks treble brightness. This was my impression:

This model has been replaced by ATH-CKS50TW which is just launched in Singapore this month for S$218.

- ducts on the back of the driver control airflow to ensure a detailed acoustic space
- Feed-forward active noise cancellation and Hear-through function supported
- Supports low-latency mode enabled via app
- Supports Sony 360 Reality Audio
- IPX4 water protection
- Sidetone supported during voice calls
- Multipoint pairing supported
- supports aptX Adaptive Audio changes the bit rate of audio according to the radio wave environment and music data transfer status
- EQ presets supported
- Volume step adjustment supported (16-step, 32-step, 64-step)
- Supports Android Fast-Pair
- Supports mono earbud use
