How is my Brainwavz B2 compared with IE80, westone 4 and Heir Audio 4.ai. Quite interested in Heir Audio 4.ai. How much is it going for in your shop?

We do not carry Heir Audio. =)
Both the Brainwavz B2 and IE80 has pretty tight bass but the Brainwavz B2 lacks the fullness that the Sennheiser IE80 has.

The Brainwavz B2 is more bright and analytical compared to the Sennheiser IE80.

The mids is definitely one of the more pronounced

The Sennheiser HD598 is a pretty pair of headphones for gaming too, with crisp details and wide soundstage. I have some gamer friends who swear by it.

Can try the UE4000 its small and light yet durable. =) Its below the price range you are looking for but a good contender, Marshall Major is a good choice for the sound but the UE4000 has detachable cable and the cable it comes with has a mic and volume control.

What type of usage - Mostly On the go Purely music

File format used in your source - mostly AAC and some FLAC

Genre of music I listen to - Pop, Rock, R&B

Headphone / earphone type - iem

Other requirements - Not necessary but Armature Drivers prefered due to seperation.

SE215 blue sounds very different from the regular ones.

SE215 SE
- Slightly more warm compared to the regular SE215
- Better details and smooth mids/highs

- Decent instrument separation

You can try the JVC FXT-90 =) Its musical and has punchy bass (without affecting the mids/highs)

Forward sounding mids and treble, bright and not piercing treble.

Overall its musical sounding so it might suit your genres, and vocals sound really good on it.

If you like better bass rumble, the Futuresonic Atrio M5 is a good choice too. It sounds better for me wearing it over the ears. The M5 has better bass texture but the mids is not as forward as the FXT90.

If you look at slightly above $100, there is the Etymotic MC5 and also the Creative Aurvana In-ear 2.

- Neutral and more warm sounding unlike other Etymotic series
- Full and more balanced

Creative Aurvana In-ear 2
- Decent bass
- Full sounding mids, good for vocals
- Good depth due to open design, isolation not as good (if that's an issue)

Its true but the Bose IE2 if she like clarity will be the IE2 which is at $149. =)
