oh, if you want Earphones, IEM specifically? Go for Moondrop Chu. You can get it official from SAM Audio for about $30.

build quality not good and the earpads wear off quickly...............AKG must buy the higher models with fabric earpads...........

Just got my Shuoer S12 planar IEM and trying it out.
Was considering this and 7Hz Timeless, and the S12 was offered for a lot less and charts somewhat similar, so it was a no-brainer (for me) as a trial unit.
Wondering if anyone here has got it as well, and what's your take on this IEM?
Many reviewers claim it to be very bright. Maybe it's just me, but I'm used to even brighter signatures than what came out of the box. I had to EQ to make it more airy.
I already like it more than my current Aria, especially on soundstage.

I have an Aria here. Their sensitivity spec very similar, so if it's like the Aria, should be very easy to drive. I plug and use directly with my phone and PC headphone jack, max 60-70% loud enough.

Just for the heck of it, I'd ordered a pair of Master & Dynamic ME05 (brass) just because it was on sale. It used to cost about 200 (USD?) I believe and now goes for way less than 20 SGD. I figured that at that cost, it'd worth giving it a go.

open back* headphones do have a more accurate sound than closed back? i think i agree w it cos can often sound more airy, clear or spacious versus their closed counterparts. (Many expensive high-end headphones have theirs open-backs too)


* Open-back headphones are safer for your ears/drum because their design reduces the intensity of the sound sent esp for long-term use.( limit ear sweat too) ALso lighter!

Ananda BT, Deva pro are wireless open back headphones.

Not common.

wireless open/closed headphones, some just buy bluetooth dongle/dac then coil up the cable and clip the dongle onto the headband itself
