For analytical sound I think ER4s and F111 cant be beat. ER4s is less than 500 SGD I think and F111 is slightly above 800. ER4 is brighter and cold, but F111 is warmer and more engaging. Both are very transparent and revealing. Very worthy upgrades to DBA-02MkII imo. Westones and Earsonics are nowhere near analytical sounding.

+1, immediately thought of the FitEar. Others include: RE272, PFE232, CK100pro. Might be over your budget though.. Though if you wanna go over your budget, you should really get the JH13, lol.

Can look at Thousand Sound TS842 Review & Appreciation ~ $500 hybrid custom IEM

Basically a hybrid CIEM with 8mm dynamic + ER4's BA unit. Costs RMB3350... around S$650.

Else, 4.Ai looks pretty good.

Jaben has the F111 and ER4s demo. I don't think they have TS842.

What about a headphone below $200? What I basically want is a big soundstage, solid bass (not overwhelming though) and clear enough for me to appreciate classical music. Looks is not important.

I wouldn't want a overly 'open' headphones because my house isn't that quiet all the time. But noise isolation isn't a important for me as I am using it at home, and not on public transport.

Sorry, I know the best way to choose a headphone is to test it. But I am stuck in camp now and I want to close down on my options.

Haven't heard them but Yamaha EPH-100 seems to get really good reviews.

If you are looking at the s4, suggest you give the yamaha eph-100 a try. Although slightly above your budget but its a good upgrade from s4. I own both s4 and eph-100

Frankly I dont think X10 and SE535 are worth the money. Each have some major flaws which makes them the not so good options at their price. I haven't tried the IE80 so I can't comment about it.

ASG-1.2 (SGD350) is a very good, warm sounding IEM which works very well with EQ. Very very exceptional for live recordings. Heir Audio 3.Ai (USD300) is also exceptional. You can find many positive reviews abt it here in HWZ or in Headfi.

Try the Ultrasone HFI780. Very good soundstage and bass. Some people like those but some don't due to their unique S-logic tech so you might wanna audition them first

Can try the ASG-1.2 at Soundwaves Studio at Katong I12, and for 4.Ai for now you can only try its custom demo 4.A at Jaben (supposed to sound the same).

Treoo is trying to bring in the Heir Audio universals; dont know how Jaben is doing.
