thanks koneski! would try ion stereo for my next audition! i went to plaza singapura stereo today. tried a few, my top two choices will be k550 and Beyerdynamic T70p. how do u guys think about the t70p? because i am using it for outdoor most of the time, therefore not considering open can

Treble has more sparkle on the T70p but if you are bringing it for outdoor use the velvet earpads might be an issue especially if you sweat under the hot Singapore weather.

- What type of usage (mainly music)
- File format used in your source (alac & mp3)
- Genre of music you listen to (lots of rock, e.g. coldplay, kings of leon, daughtry, etc and all sorts of genre)
- Headphone (grados - either rs1i, rs2i, ps500 or sr325i)

which of the 4 grados would you recommend? I like the wood design of the rs series but more importantly is the sound. Is rs1i worth the extra $ over the ps500?

Just bought a Bose OE2 from Stereo at PS.. Friendly staff ... Read some posts on this lady staff, Elene. All the female staffs hide behind the counter busy with their admin work, not free to walk around to assist me .. Maybe next time i shall ask Elene to assist me .. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation !! Happy purchase

You can try the SE215 SPE instead =) - also try out the DTX101iE but can't find any with the sound you want but with extension cable.

PS500 sounds slightly brighter for me - mostly for rock I might for the RS1i instead. =)

Can try out the UE900 selling for 599sgd =) quite an improvement in the soundstage and fit. Now comes with a mic cable and a normal cable
