Which HP would u recommend? Dt880 pro vs akg q701. Both @ 230+ at amazon with free shipping. I have an asus impact mobo with LM4562 headphone amp that can drive 600ohm hps and a cheapo .22 amp.

Music/Movies/Games.

You picked two really dependable on amp headphones.

DT880 would be a detail and clarity monster with very hot treble, bordering on too much in fact. Because of the treble, the bass and mids seem light. Good PRAT and speed. More of a studio reference monitor kind of sound.

Q701 would be more balanced. Better in my opinion if you are going to use as a multi-purpose headphone. HOWEVER, that being said, the 701/702 series of AKG is VERY, VERY amp selective. Even if you have an amp that can drive 600ohms headphones doesn't mean it will drive it nicely.

It's hard to see me using these headphones as all in one usage headphones, but if you'd ask me to die die pick one, I would pick the Q701 as driven properly, it would be the more balanced of the two.

guys need advice here.

With a budget of $140+/-
any recommendation for portable headphone brand/model ?

Sol Republic Tracks HD is a Okay headphone ?

Must not be too manly colors, like full black, leather brown (eg Philips Uptown).
Need to be colorful or at least will appeal to females, cause I am not the one looking for this headphone, asking on behalf. :o

she wanted Beats, but heard this sucks in terms of quality...
Can take a look at the Skullcandy Navigator. Comes in different colours. :)

I am looking for Sony MDR-EX510SL to go along with my Jabra Clipper BT but couldn't find it at all Sony Stores.

Their sales personal told me that it is an old model and had been replaced by MDR XB90EX but I don't believe their word because these two fall under different class.

I need neck-chain type instead of Y type code.... any recommendation of similar neck-chain type of other made?
Do you mind something that is longer in cable length? If not can take a look at the Sennheiser CX-300II. If you really want to get the Sony EX510 you can try roaming around Sim Lim Square to see if some of the shops there still have stocks for them. :)

Hi experts,

Looking for some advice here. My friend is looking for a sports Bluetooth headset for listening to music during her workouts. Heard that Jaybird is quite gd but dunno which model to hoot. Budget is somewhere ard $200. Any gd suggestions? Other brands also ok so long as is sweat proof with gd bass.

Thks in adv :)
If your friend is looking for good bass the Jaybird JF3 is pretty good. Was well received by many for its bass performance. :)

Hi there, the Sennheiser RS220 would be a good upgrade from your RS160. It features drivers from the Sennheiser HD650 and you can connect it to your Asus DX soundcard through optical cable. :)

We are waiting the arrival of the Bose QC20. Maybe you would like to consider that. :)

Hi when will it arrive? I need it urgently.

Also, roughly what price range would it be?

Sorry I realized I didn't state my budget. I don't think I could afford a Bose. My budget is only around $100.

It is estimated to be around end September to early October for the QC20 to arrive. You can consider the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC33is. :)

I just got the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC33is. Within a couple of minutes, I started experiencing terrible headaches and nausea. I read that this is common with NC earphones.

Urgh, anyone else has any other suggestions?

I'm in search for a new earpiece, my dunu trident stopped working, i think the connection is loose anyway of fitching it?. Currently im looking at MEElectronics A151, Amazon.com : MEElectronics A151-BK Balanced Armature In-Ear Headphones for iPod, iPhone, MP3/CD/DVD Players (Black) : Electronics, just wondering how is it and whether it is durable or not. I guess you can say that im a very heavy duty person? Over the past 3 years i replaced 2 earpieces, 1st was brainwavez M1 then my dunu trident. i listen mostly through my iphone 5 and mostly rock genre. Could really use a suggestion my budget it about $50.

You can try using them in passive mode to try and ease the headache. It could be that you're sensitive to the alternating frequency produced by the earphones. :)

Hi, if the problem of your Dunu Trident is at the jack area we are able to do a jack re-termination to solve the issue. As for durability of the earphones, it will be dependant on how they are used. :)
