Intending to buy a headphone as a gift but need a recommendation

- Your rig: mp3
- What type of usage: Music
- File format used in your source: mp3
- Genre of music you listen to: Rock, Pop Songs
- Headphone / earphone type: Closed/Open
- Budget: $250 - $300

Is Sennhiser, Audio Technica or Fidelio a better brand?

Thanks.

Depends on what is the sound that you would prefer. Generally most find the Sennheiser sounds darker. Audio Technica is more well-received for its vocal representation. :)

Hi there, currently there are no earphones with volume control and mic that can support both iPhone and Android together, except if it is a mechanical volume control rather than a digital volume control. :)

If you're using with PC and your PC is separate jacks for mic and headphones you would need a splitter to be able to use the mic as all earphones we have that has mic is a combined jack. You can consider the Beyerdynamic MMX41ie which comes with the splitter. :)

Sorry, think I got the brand wrongly. I wanted to ask if there are any recommendation on Audio Technica. Thanks!!
Hi, for under $300 there are few models from Audio Tech to consider.
Open-back:
AD700X
Close-back:
A700X
PRO700MK2
Portable:
ES700

Hi there,
You can give the Fischer Audio Consonance and the Audio Technica CKS55X a try. Both are strong in bass. :)

Difference between SH Momentum and Momentum On-ear

Hi there,

Is there much difference in sound delivery quality if we compare using them in a quiet place? Thanks.

Perhaps you can consider bluetooth headsets like the Jabra Halo 2 and the Jaybird SB2. :)

Yes ambient noise will affect the sound quality as noise may leak and thus affecting them. :)

You can consider the Razer Carcharias and the Steelseries Siberia V2. The Siberia might be better as it is a floating headband which is more comfortable on long-term use. :)

Hi, are you looking for active noise-cancelling earphones?
