In need of some advice.

My Fischer Audio DBA-02 MKII is having problems. The left side is very very very soft as compared to the right side. Only when i turn on full max then the left side can hear very little. Almost no sound coming from it at 'normal' volume.

I had previously changed my plug to the Neutrik 3.5mm right-angled plug at Stereo last year because one side completely no sound at all (can't remember if it's the same side though). After changing it, worked well for a many months until today.

Could it be the plug spoilt again? Or are my earphones' drivers itself that are spoilt?

You can consider the models Audio Technica ATH-CKM500is which has mic and volume control that you can use for your phone, Sennheiser MM30i, which you can try first to be sure that mic will work for your phone as the volume controls are meant for Apple products and if the controls are not that necessary, you can take a look at Fischer Audio Bullet 6MM which is also suitable for the type of genre you're listening into and currently having a 10% off promotion. Hi bockscar! Usually, if you need to twist the plug on a certain angle then the sound goes back to normal, then most of the time it is the plug or wires' problem. Maybe if your schedule allows, we can bother you to head down to either of our stores so we can help you check further regarding this.

AT and fischer looks good. any good reviews on that? is the driver size too small to deliver good solid response?

Actually, it doesn't always rely on the size of the driver but mostly on how they were tuned. Best is to audition the demos so you can really hear how they sound like.

ops i just realised that i replied to the wrong post...

i've tried a few single armature drivers ones and they all lacked heavily in bass response. the mids and highs are very good and the bass is clear, but not strong enough.

how does the jvc woody series hold up against dual armature ones? e.g. shure 425, westone 2, ue700, brainwavz b2?

when will the woody series come in?

I've heard that the UM2/UM Pro 20 will stack up better than the westone 2.

Single BA IEMs usually won't sounds as good as a dynamic driver IEM.
