Although their performance/price ratio isn't as bad as beats or skullcandy, they actually considered quite overpriced when compared to many other iems out there. My friend bought one and he didnt like it. Furthermore, I can't find much good reviews about jays

Looking at replacements for the SE425 which I've had for about 4 years now. Haven't been using these much until the last year where i found myself travelling alot and now, these bug the hell out of me - they're not comfortable after prolonged wear in the air and I hate the over the year configuration (its annoying to take off and put back on while you're tired and having to converse with the crew). Could you please be so kind to recommend options that are preferably more comfy?

Guys, after recently my not so old Philip O'neil's IEM plasticky parts starts breaking apart.. I'm looking for a new IEM budget around $150, have to be durable.. braided cable if possible and damn good bass, was eying Shure SE215, Etymotic MC5 and Audio Technica ATH-IM70. Need to hear some feedbacks on those or other models, thanks in advance.

Guys, tested few iem today...still see if there r more choices to go for.

I quite like heir audio 4 - kind of base ref...maybe the only thing is high roll off to me.
Um miracle - dun have proper fit...so can't really tell
Um mage - forward or bright to me, dark
westone w50 - mid recessed, bass too heavy (not sure if that's the correct way to describe)
ue 900s - in a way forward

Audition at diff locations with diff ambient conditions...

priority given to universal, but open to customs. For now source is phone, will go for dac/amp or dap in near future

Ibasso general feedback is the UI laggy, u can find alot about it online.

X3 2nd gen i have not demo but have tried a friend's for about 10mins. It is much easier since it is smoother.

SQ wise i am not very sure, so sry my reply seems kind of useless, but i hope it is useful to u in the event smoothness of operation for the UI is a huge factor to you.
