- Your rig: Sony Xperia Z3
- What type of usage: Music
- File format used in your source: MP3 / FLAC
- Genre of music you listen to: Pop / Rock
- Headphone / earphone type: IEM
- Other requirements (if any): Good bass, fun sounding rather than analytical
- Budget: $500
Hey guys, I've been using the FS Atrios for many years already, even choosing to replace it with a second one when my first one died on me after a few years of usage. But it was my 21st birthday a couple of days ago and I feel like I should treat myself to something..
Should I look to get a real DAP first instead of getting a second IEM? I'm still pretty in love with my Atrios so a new IEM would have to blow me away to get me to upgrade though. So um, DAP or upgrade IEM? Would moving to a DAP from a phone as a source be an immediately noticeable upgrade? Maybe recommendations for both so if I'm feeling generous with myself..
Probably going to avoid spending more than 300~ on a DAP, or more than 500 on a new IEM.
