Hi guys back after a year cause my beloved JVC FXZ100 died on me T_T considering repairing or getting a new earphones. Any recommendations?

- Your rig: Sansa Clip+, Samsung s6
- What type of usage: music
- File format used in your source: mp3
- Genre of music you listen to: kpop, ballads, acoustic, live music
- Headphone / earphone type: anything but headphones lol
- Other requirements: similar to FXZ100 if possible (loved the wide sound stage I get from there, not as bass-y as my shure se215)
- Budget: $300

- Your rig: Fiio X3 2nd Gen
- What type of usage: Music
- File format used in your source: flac and mp3
- Genre of music you listen to: Rock, symphony soundtracks
- Headphone / earphone type: IEM
- Other requirements (if any): Prefers something that emphasis bass. Used to like AKG but it is close to overpowering
- Budget (in figures): $200 to $350

I am considering Sony XBA-A2 (some good reviews but most people seem to avoid Sony), IM02 (read that it is very transparent). Still researching.

Help appreciated. Thanks

Thanks. I was hoping to gather some recommendations on which IEM I should try out.

Tested the W30, IM02, IM03 & XBA-A2. Conclusion? Maybe I should just stick to cheaper earphones till I can learn how to appreciate proper IEMs. I was using Klipsch S4i and in the quick tests of the above IEMs, I only find W30 more superior than the S4. I tried to make sure I have proper seals with the IEMs tested but was not able to get them work as they should. So the problem lies with me.

I like the sound from Sony's MDR-1A although it is a little too bassy. However, I needed a more portable solution.

(are the xiaomi 13.99 or 31.99 from the online store any good?)

sorry for the typo error.
yes I meant ep-630 replacement!

One of my fav iem too. Too bad creative discontinued it.

Sennheiser cx300-ii is quite close to it imo. But 3x the retail price. I bought mine during amazon black friday so its cheap.

audio tech im50? shure se112? or Tandem from fischer audio? Actually quite a lot of choices from this price range, but of cos sound is subjective so better to have a first hand experience.

For sports use I would suggest the mee M6, cheap and good!
