I'm looking for a headset for gaming/everyday use like watching videos etc.
The headset must have a mic, wired, and can connect using a single 3.5mm cable for phone usage with mic.
Led not required
It's ok if the headset is connected through USB for pc, as long as there is also a 3.5mm cable for phone usage.
Unfortunately, I don't have a budget, so please recommend me a low ($<75) and a mid range ($75-150) headset.
Thank you

Just recently got a HpyerX Cloud II. Man, it is freaking comfortable for long hours gaming. Audio quality is pretty good too. I mean it is obviously not for music listening.

I would encourage you to get a separate headphones for music cos no gaming headset will be good enough like Audio Technica M50x or some shite like that.

Anyway, bottom line, HyperX Cloud II get my vote as being affordable and awesome gaming headset at the same time.

why do you need Cloud 2? Cloud would do since both your laptop and phone takes a 4-pole jack for both audio out and mic in.

the difference between cloud core and cloud 2

cloud 2 has the following which core does not have
1) 1 more set of cushion pvc(leather)
2) USB "AMP" for the surround sound, no need for any driver install
3) airplane plug

cloud core
1) only 1 set of velvet cushion (cloud 2 also has)
2) longer 3.5mm cable if im not wrong

truthfully, the "AMP" does make the sound better a lot

invest in a decent set of normal headphones and buy something like mod mic. seriously gaming headphones are just not worth the trouble
