Hi all, I switched on my desktop after about 5 days of no usage. After running about 5 mins , a blue screen suddenly appeared. The computer restarted and 4 beeps sound was heard before restarting again and 4 beeps sound was heard again. The whole process happen repeatedly without going to desktop. I manually switched off the plug and left it alone for about 5 mins. Switched it on again and it was okay. After about 5mins , the same occurrence happened.

Any idea what could be the causes of it ? How can I remedy ?

Thank you very much

Computer POST and beep codes
Either try to clean your ram gold contact with eraser and reseat them (very likely) or try to change CMOS batt.
If still can't post after cleaning and reseating rams, try to isolate the problem by testing a ram module on different slot at a time.

Hi guys , the issue seems to be able to be resolved by cleaning the ram and gfx contact with a clean eraser. There's another problem now. My mouse can be detected and move but I cant left or right click it.

I'm now outside and will be home in 30mins time. I will try a couple of things .

1. Try another mouse
2. Any other options ?

Edited.

Suddenly okay when I tried using the Logitech mouse app. Now try to use the desktop see if the blue screen appears and beeping sounds occurs again or not
