my motherboard is an Asrock H81M-HDS and it only has 1 chassis fan header. I want to add another fan but the only way is to use PWM fan splitter cables.

Are they safe? Will 2 fans connected to 1 chassis fan header on the mobo perform normally?

Just make sure the total fan amp is lesser than what the motherboard can provide. You can email Asrock on how much amp the fan header can provide.

Yes, as long as total amperes isnt over 1A for a single header. Check ur fan's specifications for power consumption. If its in wattage, den divide by 12 will do.

All chassis fan headers can handle up to 1A?

0.75a fans spins like typhoon 3600rpm. Most case fan spins from 1200-2000
