HELP!! ): bad a level grades, h1maths vs h2maths, ntu/nus comp sci

Just received my results on 3 March. Always wanted to apply for comp science, super interested in it ok! despite being a girl however my results are depressing now a sadsadgirl *emo*

here are my grades:
BCC/AEB
H2CHEM:B
H2BIO:C
H2GEO:C
H1MATHS:A
H1GP:E (yes, an eyesore indeed)
H1PW:B
HCL:C6
RANKPOINTS: 71.25.

As you can see i no longer qualify for NUS comp sci with
IGP of BBB/C
RANKPOINTS:75.
Where subject prerequisites are H2 pass in Computing or Mathematics or Physics; OR a good pass in H1 Mathematics has been met.
Is there anyone in same situation as me?

Currently I'm looking at NTU comp sci with
IGP of BCC/D
RANKPOINTS:68.75 now.
However I do not meet the prerequisites of H2 LEVEL PASS IN MATHS.
Other min subject requirements has been met. H2 pass in chem, bio, o level pass in phy etc..

Do i still stand a chance in NTU comp science?
Or should i appeal for NUS comp sci?
if not.. i might just retake A level as private candidate. lol.
Another question, is it possible to switch from h1 maths to h2 maths if i would to retake?

I think you should go down to NTU open house tomorrow to ask your questions there.

As for switching from H1 to H2 maths, yes it is possible if you resit the whole A level exams.

May stand a chance because of your H1 A.

Anyway just apply for it. I also never managed to score the required 25th percentile score for my course but still managed to enter.

Actually ur grade still can go many other course...if u dont like comp sci..try chem and biochem in ntu...or applied physic...or sce

Indeed, my rank points can allow entry to many NTU engineering & sci courses. However, do note that I do not meet min subject of many many courses.. all engineering, applied physics, history, english etc.. with my GP E and H1Maths i practically can't go anywhere except CBC, ARTS NIE, ARTS DESIGN AND MEDIA and NURSING.. I do have a B3 in A maths when i was in secondary.. which allows me to qualify for a H2 MATHS in jc.. All the dumb choices I had made in J1. Having H1maths was the most regrettable decision I have ever made. I can't blame anyone except for myself.. If only I had done my research regarding course entry la.. lol.

there are only 2 choices:
1. Retake A level along w H2 maths with discipline
2. Accept what i have in my hands, go with it, hoping i would find passion in it!

Actually i called the admission office. The staff are kinda confusing. One say I'm unsure, but u could try to apply. Called twice, next one said: Cannot! must meet minimum requirements to qualify! You're wasting ur choices by applying. Now what... Should i consider NTU CBC? any NTU CBC seniors care to share their experiences in NTU? I have taken pure bio chem since sec sch, even in JC. Min subj requirements only need h1 pass in maths. What are the job prospects? i have heard alot of horror stories of washing test tubes.. :X however i do believe, if u strive and work hard, you could still land yourself in a decent job right?

I'm from Bioengineering. The score during my year required ABB/B I think, but i got in with ABC/A.

Rank point is definitely more important, but don't really rely much on the IGP unless it's those very popular courses. Just apply and try.
