Hi guys, I'm looking for a PC build that's around 300-500 SGD.
Main purposes are for Dota2 and maybe abit of Dragon Age:Origins
I understand both of these games are not very heavy in nature so I'm looking to cut costs wherever possible.

Any old-timers can rate/help/advice me on my build? (Found it from online, did a bit of light reading on PC building but I am still rather clueless)

CPU: G3258
Graphics Card: Asus GTX 750 Ti or Sapphire Radeon R7 360
PSU: EVGA 430w 80 Plus PSU
Motherboard: MSI MATX Motherboard H81M-P33
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 Memory
Hard Drive: 320GB WD Caviar Blue

Cost should be under $500 if done at SLS?

I think swapping the ram with a more basic one (4gb x2) value ram for an i3 processor would be much better as u get hyperthreading (2 vs 4 threads)

You can consider the second-hand market as there are occasionally good bargains to be found. You do not need a current generation system as your gaming requirements are quite light.

Things you should buy new will be a 1TB WD Blue and a 240GB SSD for around $200. Add about $30 to $40 for OS.

Do remember to factor in peripherals like monitor, keyboard and mouse if you require them.

Oh sorry, I forget to say, yes, 2nd hand if possible. $500 is very hard.

Hi bro thanks for the advice, any disadvantages of buying 2nd hand i3 vs 1st g3258? I have heard from articles online that the diff between g3258 and i3 is very negligible, can advice whether true or false?

Hi Bro can elaborate what do you mean? The RAM i listed is a 4GB x 2 one right?

in all honesty, why dont you try and get a 2nd hand rig

frankly it's 2016 already this kind of budget i'd rather hoot used sandy/ivy quad rather than any el cheapo current dual core HT or no HT :s22:
