If you are feeling adventurous, i would recommend u get a mix of new parts from shops and 2 hand parts from the market place. As the games u are playing arent demanding, if going 2 hand route, easily can get a machine that can play both games at ultra 1080p for around 500~600 max

If you are going for only new parts and wanna maximum savings, best is u download price sheet, compare and contrast with lazada offers. For some items SLS lower price, sometimes Lazada better

This build should allow you to play stated games at max and more. If next time want upgrade to play newer games, do a gpu upgrade or cpu upgrade will do

Hi sxinyinglim,

Intel will be launching Coffee Lake CPUs on the 21st Aug (3 days away), so it might be better to wait and compare with AMD Ryzen CPUs.

But if you need to buy your PC now, then you should opt for a Ryzen build. Your games are not very graphically intensive, thus you don't have to spend $1500. Both options that I suggested below will run your games comfortably, with Option 2 (Ryzen 5 1600 & GTX 1060) being more future proof. Shop names are in brackets.

Option 1:

CPU & MB Bundle: Ryzen 3 1200 & Asrock AB350M Pro 4 @ $297 (PC Themes)
GPU: Asus GTX 1050 2GB GDDR5 @ $163.32 (Qoo10) (After applying Cart & Shop Coupon) *

Option 2:

CPU & MB Bundle: Ryzen 5 1600 & Asrock AB350M Pro 4 @ $452 (Dynacore)
GPU: Galax GTX 1060 EX OC White 6GB GDDR5 @ $419 (Lazada)

RAM: G.Skill 2400Mhz 8GB @ $90 (PC Themes)
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB @ $149 (Lazada)
Hard Disk: Toshiba 1TB 7200RPM @ $63 (PC Themes)
Casing: Tecware F3 @ $45 (Lazada)
Power Supply: Superflower Leadex Silver 90+ Full Modular 650W @ $128 (Lazada)
OS: Windows 10 @ ~$12 (Carousell)

Total Cost (Option 1) = $947.32
Total Cost (Option 2) = $1358

* Qoo10 has $30 discount coupon with min. $180 purchase (valid until 20th Aug) and the shop coupon is 5% discount with min. $1 purchase that you can combine for your GPU purchase. For more discounts, you can also buy $100 Qoo10 gift cards (each at 3% off) and use Qpoints.

For further discounts on Lazada, you can use their Citibank credit card promo code "OFFICIALCITI" for 8% off capped at $20, Standard Chartered credit card promo code "SCWIN17" for $30 off min spend $250, LiveUp (5% rebate) and Shopback.
