Hi Everyone,

Hope to get some help for building a new computer :) Will gladly appreciate the extra effort if a shop and price is included otherwise I think I will likely default to TradePac.

Have a budget of $1000-1500.

- Unsure of Mobo
- At least Intel i5 . Intel only.
-Mid-range GPU (DoTa, D3, GTA) but with the price, I assume can run high on most game. NVIDIA only.
- SSD (256GB) (already have an existing HDD)
- At least 8GB RAM
- Unsure of PSU
- Unsure of Casing

Budget EXCLUDES the following parts for now
- Monitor
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- OS
- DVD-ROM

Think I have listed all the parts here.

I will add the price and shop into the components when I search from the digital price list tomorrow after my exam -.-"

In the meantime, here's an advance thank you for anyone helping in adding the price/shops :)

Samsung ODD ~ $21
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM ~ $110
Dell S2340L 23inch eIPS Panel ~ $219
CM QuickFire TK Red/Brown/Blue switches mechanical keyboard ~ $139 (Cybermind)
Razer Naga 2014 Edition ~ $119 (Cybermind)

Total ~ $1727. Buy at tradepac unless stated. DIY

Upgrade options:

MSI R9 280X 3gb Twin Frozr OR Sapphire r9 280x 3gb VapourX TriX ~ + $215

I recommend the Razer Naga series mouse since you are playing Dota2/D3. With this mouse you have plenty buttons on your left side that allows you to trigger any skills faster. Imagine playing D3 with just 1 hand lol.

Thanks guys.

For the SSD - Crucial m500 240gb ~ $155 (Amazon), I found that Transcend sells at a comparable price but is from a local store so there's a 3 years warranty.

Any recommendation on which one to get? Do let me know why (like performance, durability etc...) if possible so I can let the others know as well :)

Go for crucial instead. More reliable and better performance.
