Help building custom desktop

Hi guys! I'm new to building custom desktops and would like advice on the hardware I need to start 1 for gaming purposes and where can I source for those parts. If possible I would like it to be able to support games like Witcher 3 and the upcoming No Man's Sky. My budget is about 1.2 to 1.3k. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can I just check, what's the difference between the radeon and nvidia graphics card? From my limited knowledge, the more common one is nvidia? Also, if i'm purely using this desktop for gaming, is it okay if i switch to a 250gb SDD to save costs?

On a side note, will i be able to connect to the internet with this build and how do i install windows onto this desktop?

if purely for gaming both are alright just that the pricing might not be that good for your budget.

but if u really wants nivida, maybe u can check with those 2nd hands on hardwarezone IT gauge or VRzone Market. else wait for huge price drop.

well for SSD that is the cheapest 500GB if u dun want is fine, u can go for Zotac T500 @82.50+3 (if u have dbs card u can get 10% discount.)

yes definitely u can go online with this build. As for installation if u have thumbdrive u can download the windows OS and burn into ur thumbdrive and install from your thumbdrive. but first maybe u can go over to qoo10 to look for people selling those windows 7 or 8.1 keys and use it.
