Help! Can't choose between 2 degrees

I am accepted by NUS for mechanical engineering and NTU for aerospace engineering. However, I cant decide which one to accept as NUS seem to have a better reputation though there is a chance where i may not be able to specialise in aeronautical engineering for the course in NUS. As for NTU, generally aerospace engineering seems to be in demand in Singapore but i heard rumours about the studying environment in NTU and how hard it is to compete with all the straight As students there. Can anyone advice me on which one to choose?

If I am in your shoes, I will choice

1) NUS over NTU for more recognition in globalization.

2) mechanical over aerospace because mechanical allow me to have more career choices including aerospace industry while aerospace only limited me to work in aerospace related industry.

i think ntu aerospace will be harder? but my time....only have specialisation for 2 yrs, so im not sure how isit like now
basically you will see alot of equations in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics bla bla bla...and also aircraft design (efficiency etc)

future wise.....last time they said wanna develop sg into aerospace hub....but after so long, i think sg is still a MRO hub.....so depends on wat u r looking for haha

Can anyone help me list down the pros and cons of NUS and NTU? I believe it will help me to make my decision better. Thanks
