Go up the lorry. Keep trying to switch it on, sometime it may start to load. Once it can load quickly back up your data to portable HDD. Then restore to factory default to see whether it can boot up again. Most likely can not boot up again. May be trade in during PC show for $10 to $30 voucher or else throw away.

Suspect just a dead HDD. Replace the HDD with SSD and install OS to go.

It sounds like a drive is about to fail. Do get it changed soon and recover your data.
