I was using my computer half way when I sneezed. My leg hit the computer table and the whole computer hanged. No, I'm not trolling.

I tried reseating my ram, reconnecting all connections, a new battery, and still couldn't load into my bios. Monitor just showed a black screen all the way.

I can hear my graphics card start up and that was it. Windows didn't load or anything. I'm sure that my monitor is fine.

on a possibly related note, I encountered a 0xc000000f error yesterday and solved it by switching bios achi.

I have important files that I need to access.. Please help!

if you turn on your speakers, do the Windows loading sound come on? and do the HDD activity light on the casing looks as though it is starting normally, or show no activity?

Take out the graphic card, clean the gold contact on the card using an eraser before installing it back to the slot.

Power up and start using your computer, hopefully.

have you tried connecting the monitor to the onboard VGA port and see if the display is being routed there instead?

Dirt/oil/knock can possibly cause your ram mayhem.
