[HELP] Computer can't detect NVIDIA Graphic Driver

As stated in the title, this is troublesome.
The computer is currently running on Intel HD Graphics.
The NVIDIA Graphic card doesn't show up in the device manager, can't install any updates. The video card scan at NVIDIA website can't find anything too.
I went to BIOS but I don't know what to do there.

When I tried connecting my VGA cable to the DVI adapter, the monitor only ask me to connect to the adapter, there will only be display when I connect the VGA to the VGA port.

I don't know if this is related but it's causing the computer to system restore frequently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Either GFX having problems else is your motherboard.

Go borrow a GFX and test.

Else check power supply.

Intel HD graphic is onboard, so you connect your VGA cable to the onboard VGA port, usually in horizontal position.

Nvidia graphic card is an addon, so you have to connect your DVI/VGA/HDMI port to the Nvidia graphic card installed in vertical position at the back of your computer.

It sounds like you have your Nvidia graphic card installed but you are connecting your monitor to the onboard Intel HD graphic still.

Please check connection & revert.

It's all connected, it was perfectly fine when I first used this comp. The VGA was connected to the DVI. Until recently I don't know why nothing shows up when I start the computer until I connect the VGA to the VGA port instead of the DVI adapter.

That case it will likely mean your graphic card is spoilt. Probably have to get a new one. Good isn't it?
