I was using my com halfway when lightning struck and power went off.

Restarted my house circuit board, and tried to power on my com as usual.

Computer starts up, but my keyboard/mouse doesn't light up. No display as well.

So far I've restarted the motherboard, took out the battery and put it back. Nothing works.

Are there anything else I can do? I'm using a Asus hero vii mobo

Thanks

You can try restarting a few more times, waiting a minute or so between each attempt.

I used to have this problem and it took a few tries before the backup BIOS kicks in. The problem has now gone away for me, presumably due to an updated BIOS.

Your Mobo may be a Hero!

it may have saved your other components by sacrificing itself.

Only way to tell is to plug the others into a spare motherboard..

Those 48K bit/s modems .... used to have to leave my comp on overnight to download stuff :D Now we can stream 4K videos.
