I think its my PSU. I realized the PSU fans aren't spinning when I'm playing the game.

I suspect heat accumulation or faulty PSU. I do not have another PSU to make sure. Any other ways to confirm my suspicions?

might be PSU or GPU. since you do not have a spare PSU, either borrow from a friend or head to computer shops to diagnose.

My gpu is only 2-3 months old but my psu, on the other hand, my psu is 3 years old...

I think i might continue observing and see how it goes from there. Thanks!

1) drivers
2) PSU
3) graphics card
4) Faulty motherboard slot

Try reinstall drivers, if same problem buy a better PSU. If still don't work send GPU to distro to test

if heat is a concern, try to put a desktop fan behind the CPU/PSU, maybe it helps to cool down a bit in this super warm weather.

They smell the PSU for any burn circuit smell.

Then might be PSU.
There might be some software that allows you to check the voltages?

heat: open desktop cover, blow desk fan into casing. If no crash, heat issue. Check air flow and maybe tidy inside, or add fan

PSU: using voltmeter, voltage should not exceed +-10% for each dc voltage...

Actually normal PSU is about $100 only. Just buy and replace it if suspect. Save the hassle of bringing computer to sim lim (taxi not cheap) vs bring back a psu. destktop maybe also too heavy.

gpu: you added or upgraded the gpu? Maybe power usage increased?

Thanks for the response guys. The specs are the ones listed beside.

Yes, recently upgraded my gpu, but first two to three months no issue.

Playing dota 2.

It doesn't crash when I blow a normal fan(not computer fan) directly into the case. But cannot confirm, need to try a few more times.
