Hi

My parents are looking to get a new desktop, purely for work purposes. Can surf internet, use microsoft office, etc., computer doesnt lag and run slowly can already. I was thinking of DIYing a rig for them, but I see that some of the all in one sets are actually decently priced (~$600). Could anyone suggest to me what I should go for? Thanks!

DIY using a Intel G Series processor with SSD will be very responsive to basic tasks already.

Just get a ready set. It may be cheaper than diy when u include original window.

Just be sure to make Urself a repair disc (Win7) or recovery USB (Win8.1) once you have acquired the machine...
