HELP! Fan placement

I just cleaned my cpu and i forgot what the initial fan placement was like. i remembered a friend told me if you put i wrongly it might cause an explosion. as i am unsure i have decided to ask on this forum.

A cooling fan is not a C4, no matter how and where you connect and mount it, it won't even give a sh!t about you let alone can explode.

If fans can explode, we don't need SAF and Air forces, simply drop a few cartons of fans to flatten the enemy bases, much economical than dropping bombs or MOAB for deep bunkers.

Concave side of the fan blade is where the air is blown.

So say the curve bracket is the fan blade:

Air in --> ( --> Air out

Picture quoted above should be air blowing to the camera. I remember it this way: If the fan can spin at super turbo speed, the blades will blow itself out of the fan chassis. Why not spin the other way so that the it does not blow itself out of the chassis?

It seems you have positioned your fan this way: [< Fan this way] [radiator] [Fan this way >]

position your fan this way: [outside case] [< Fan this way] [radiator] [< Fan this way]

i got another question, i recently changed psu for my rig but when it plays games the whole system would restart. i initially thought it was overheating so i reapplied the thermal paste, but to no avail.

on idle it does not reboot, but when gaming, on those not so graphic intense games, after about 20mins it will reboot.

pls advise

I would advise you to tell us what PSU you bought and what is in your rig (GPU, etc)

sounds like overheating.

Seems like your current psu nt able to hold the gtx770 load for some reasons...

Components used inside also matter. Anyway, try get another psu to test out.
