Hi all, this is my first try to build my own rig. I will be using it for some gaming (mostly dota 2 and some random games because I have a ps4), data analysis (simulation, etc) and photo editing (lightroom, PS).

I have done a fair amount of research and came up with the following:

CPU + MOBO: ASUS H97M-Plus + i7 4770
1st HD: Samsung 250GB 850 EVO M.2
2nd HD: WD 1TB green
Mem: Corsair Vengean Pro 1600 MHz CL9 (8gb x 2)
GPU: Zotac 960 2 GB
Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D
Power: Corsair RM650

and maybe Corsair Hydro H100i / GTX.

For my purpose, it will be CPU and RAM intensive. Hence I do not mind spending on an i7 and 16GB ram. My budget is around 1k +++ without peripherals. Thanks!

Could any pros tell me if this set up will work? Thanks! :s13::s13::s13:
