Planning to go taiwan in december
is the below plan okie

day 1: reach taiwan in morning/taichung/Miyahara/Yizhong St/Fengjia NM (night)
day 2: SML, FACV
day 3: cing jing, little swiss garden
day 4: Cingjing Farm Green Green Grassland/back to taipei
day 5-9: taipei area

is the above schedule too rushed?
planning to get a driver for the first 3 days.
any other places that I should go in taichung?

Quite similar to my trip in Apr. You might not need driver for Day 1 as Yizhong St & Fengjia NM is mainly walking around the area, just need to flag down cab to bring you there.

I'll be staying near Fengjia NM thus it's just a 5-10mins walk there.

can share which hotel you stayed in taichung? was thinking of finding a place near feng jia nm too. did you go to cing jing from sml or from taichung?
am thinking of staying at one of the minsu at sml on day 2.
day 1 most prob is taking tsr to taiching.

gng to stay at la vida hotel. plan to go cing jing from taichung. sun moon lake will be day trip only.

landing at 6am then taking hsr from taoyuan to taichung, cab to hotel.

Its star gazing cum sun rise, and not two tour. The driver will come pick you up abt 3+ 4+ depending on the timing of sun rise

Not xsiong lah, atmost next day sleep onboard train to Taipei.

The only thing i hate is carry a big luggage and travel from 1 place to another. So throughout the many times we been to Taiwan, we now always Free & Easy Taipei for 1-2 days then leave our big luggage at the hotel after check out, go other cities using a small day pack with enough clothes for 4 days. Then go back to Taipei for 1 night and pack the luggage with goodies then next day fly back to SG.

Not xsiong lah, atmost next day sleep onboard train to Taipei.

Then go back to Taipei for 1 night and pack the luggage with goodies then next day fly back to SG.

Sounds like a good idea. Might just do that for my trip in nov.
