I recommend 4690 and 16gb ram is since u not overclocking and and have a flexible budget u can try get stuff that is as good as possible

16 gb ram u dun need any upgrade on it for the next 2 year

Wan to recommend a i7 but since u dun do video editing then just recommend the fastest i5 chip the extra raw power will not be felt in gaming thou.

Can i recommend a 2 way gtx 970 instead.

At this point in time, at the resolution you intend to game at, a 2 way 980 sli wont be able to maintain a steady 60fps on high settings. Better to be a more budget friendly set up to make do, till the next gen comes out and then 2 way sli, maybe then it can support your 3x1440p monitors better

If not doing any OC, that DDR3-2133 RAMs is only going to make your system a few milliseconds faster only. Would suggest that you get at most Corsair Vengenance Pro DDR3-1600 RAMs, no need for Dominator Platinums, those things are very expensive.

what about RAM: Dominator® Platinum Series — 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1600MHZ CL9?

i choose this due to color themes
or is there any alternative for white color ?

Oh, if you just want the heat spreader design, then nevermind. Have no idea of any other RAMs with white heatspreaders. Red, blue, and black ones are more common.

One more thing, if you want to watercool your GPUs, would be a good idea to do research on the compatibilities of the waterblocks with your GPUs. As the GTX 970s from all brands all uses custom PCBs, no waterblock is going to be compatible with all brands of GPUs out there. Would be terrible if you buy your waterblocks only to find out that they do not fit.

Try EK? They usually cater to the widest range of gpu.

If u r gonna get WB, i suggest u get the cheaper 970. No point splurging so much on higher end 970 but remove the cooler. The difference in pricing is mainly due to branding and cooler used. im pretty sure u can OC ur gpu to beat the gpu with highest clockspeeds.

With this, i suggest u go get palit 970 non jetstream or zotac 970 twin fan.

Get Asus strix gtx970 then no need water cool as the fan does not run until temp very hot, the heat spreader does a good job at normal usage

How much you bought the Red Harbinger. I was thinking of getting Cross Desk, but they have no stock now have to wait for their next batch. Found someone selling in Singapore
