Hi All,

Need some advice on what to do. Recently playing blade and soul and my GPU a will reach temp of ard between 88-92c within 10mins of playing game. Not sure if it is my casing or airflow problem.. Recently did some cleaning of dust too.

Planning to change casing or maybe add in a few new fans. If needed, i dont mind changing GPU too, not sure if its time to upgrade.

GPU - Sapphire 7950 OC 3gb
Casing - T28 Sharkoon Red

Greatly appreciate some advice.

sorry, don't think i can post pic yet. but the casing is as stated. i recently cleared dust like 2 weeks back, so don't think its dust issue. there is one fan at the back, 2 infront. no fans on top. so its not a GPU problem?

i adjusted to 80% fan speed and only lowered the temp by 2c but the noise is unbearable.. really thinking of changing casing and get more fans.

Suspect your thermal paste dried up. How old is your gpu? Can consider rma if under warranty. That temp not healthy for gaming. What server you playing at wan join me?

please go and check if your thermal paste has dried up. even though it is claimed that gpu can sustain high temperature, over time it will degrade the integrity of the circuit board. my 7950 with a lousy cooler already got fried after repeatedly gaming with it at 80+ degrees, within just 1 and half years only, even when my casing has enough ventilation.
