[help] GPU dead soon?

My PC now sometimes will suddenly black screen thou sound and stuff still can be heard. Also, sometimes when booting up also black screen but got Windows sounds. The fan sometimes spins a bit and then stops when the black screen happens.

GPU going to die soon? Currently using GTX 970. What's a good replacement for 650W PSU? Budget $400 - $700. Prefer Nvidia so the driver still works.
Also for Ram, if want to add more slots need to buy back exact same one?

You can add a different set of RAM and both sets will run at the slower speed and timings of the two.

However, DDR4 RAM is cheap nowadays. Suggest you just get 32GB and sell off the existing RAM.

For your budget, best possible upgrade will be 3060ti

Which CPU? GTX 970 usually will be Intel 4th Gen which use DDR3.
If it is really Intel 4th Gen, DDR3 RAM can be hard to find.
