help. ... h100i backplate loose ?

So its normal that got play/loose ? Strange !

Corsair should indicate this in their manual or something

Make sure the backplate is aligned correctly.
There is a cutout on the backplate for the cpu socket screws.

As can be seen here.

Had to same problem before. Turned out to be that the backplate align wrongly that's why loose. Just sharing my experience. :)

I did a quick removal of my H100i and remount it. Yes the back plate will be slightly loose without the front pump being mount.

Once mount the front pump the backplate will be tightened up together.

Thanks all, problem fixed..

as some of you mentioned it is by default lose.

So commach closed my other thread being commach (as as usual (it's a different topic commach, on the same product right ?? What an abuse of power... but yeah you are commach. .. )

Not abuse of power. Many will side with him too for closing and i am with him. Just use this thread la. Dun float the whole forum with ur H100 pls.

But all of ur problems stem frm ur h100i. So, wouldnt it better to just continue from your 1st thread, something like " Problem A is solved, and i got new problem B, how to solve?". It will make the readings much easier as well..

So, if u encounter another 10 more problems with ur h100i, you gonna open 10 more threads just for that?

Not to side with commach or anyone, just my 2 cents.
