[Help] Hangs during browsing

Just built this pc about 2 months ago. Has been experiencing frequent hangs during normal browsing of the web, nothing really resource hungry that I'm doing.

Is there somekind of bottleneck? How do I go about troubleshooting

Mobo: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.9ghz
CPU: MSI B450M Bazooka Plus AM4
RAM: Kingston DDR4 2400mhz 8gb x 2
GFX: Galax GTX 1050 2gb
PSU: Silverstone 500W 80+
SSD: Crucial MX500 500gb (1 week old, just changed from Newegg BF)
HDD: WD 1TB green

You can try disconnecting the HDD and see if the problem recurs.

Which Windows Build? And are you running on Chrome? Also, are you running on Nvidia Experience?

Google Chrome & Nvidia Experience has been giving issue. Change to other browser and uninstall nvidia experience to see if it helps you or not.

Try Firefox then, my favourite browser.

A bad HDD or connection can cause system slowdown or freezes. I usually test this first since it is easy to do.

if it helps, I actually have another 320gb HDD too.

OS is installed on the SSD.

oh i just got the new SSD, so I fresh installed a new copy of windows which was the latest available.

I strongly believe it should solve your issue. Do update us on this.

Most probably hdd/ssd issue. Before you use the new ssd, did you encounter hang issue also?

only happens after i built this pc

old pc with the current hdd/ssd got no issues

i reused the SSD and HDD until I got the MX500 few days ago

If just when freeze during browsing, likely software issue. Not all freezing/hanging is caused by hardware.
